About the Artist

I am a graphic designer and illustrator currently in Kentucky. I’ve always loved drawing, art, and animation and decided to pursue a creative career because of it. I graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College with a Bachelor’s in both Graphic Design and Art. While in school and after graduation, I have designed logos for clients and done some work for brochures among other things, but my true passion lies in character design and illustration.

As a designer and illustrator, I find a duality in my work to encompass a variety of styles. I love to bring gorgeous, whimsical vibrant color schemes to figurative characters in my digital illustrations, but I also enjoy delivering clean, modern and effective design. I create to show my perception of the world, both in and outside of my imagination, and in hopes that I can bring happiness to others with my work. My art is influenced by several artists, including character designer and animator Lois van Baarle and visual development artist Kat Tsai.
